☀️The Summer I Robbed a Bank!☀️

The Everyman is delighted to present their summer production, The Summer I Robbed a Bank!

This colourful, hilarious play, adapted by Mark Doherty from David O'Doherty's award-winning children's book, runs from SAT 8–SUN 16 JUN and is perfect for ages 7+. On SUN 16 JUN 2PM our public performance will have both audio-description with a touch tour and ISL interpretation. There will be an ISL-interpreted performance WED 12  JUN 11AM  for schools.

12-year-old Rex has to spend his summer holidays on Achill Island and he doesn’t quite know what to make of this mad place and its wacky characters. Little does he know his holiday is about to get a whole lot more exciting: his eccentric Uncle Derm is hatching his most hare-brained plan yet!

A madcap robbery, plenty of sheep and a summer of discoveries are just some of the things in store for Rex. But, with his new friend Kitty and the gang by his side, this might just shape up to be the summer adventure of a lifetime.
