About Us
We are a group of stakeholders who have an interest in arts and inclusion and would like to support Cork City and region achieve its vision in becoming a “European Centre of Excellence for Inclusive Arts”. Cork is a city and county with many communities, a creative and vibrant which strives for equality, diversity, opportunity, excellence, understanding and learning through and within the arts.
Who We Are
Our Group is made up of representatives from stakeholder organisations, and arts practitioners with expertise and /or interest in working within the framework of the Local Economic and Community Plan to support the realisation of Cork City and region becoming a European Centre of Excellence for Inclusive Arts.
*COVID 19 Response
Due to the current situation with the COVID 19 virus we are working to coordinate and collate efforts from the arts community to support people through isolation, with personal wellbeing through creativity and with a range of activities, workshops, performances and more to support our community, safely & remotely whilst maximising our creative connection.
What We are Doing
We are working with our creative community, public representatives, organisations and institutions to develop a charter on inclusive arts.
We have a vibrant platform of artists and arts organisations contributing to a diverse, connected and creative community. We want to tell you about their great work.
We are mapping promising practices on inclusive arts and sharing our learnings.
We are amplifying the work of artists and want to ensure creative work is valued and has a platform to be experienced and expressed.
We are connecting and valuing the creative work of marginalised artists & communities.
We want to ensure creativity and culture are accessible & central to peoples lives.
