Music Generation Cork City events

This month is a very exciting and busy time for all at Music Generation Cork City. With four major events happening in June.

The first exciting event is the release of 'Music Gives Me a Reason' - Song & Official Music Video on Friday June 9th. The song and music video features young musicians from multiple Music Generation Cork City programmes.

'Rock the Block' is the next exciting event as part of Cruinniú na nÓg this Saturday 10th June 2023. The event is a full day festival (10am-6pm) of FREE youth music-making & creativity and takes place at Elizabeth Fort.

Fusion Avenue is a Block Party event that takes place on June 17th at New Marina Park from 1-3pm. The event is presented by Cork Midsummer Festival, The Kabin Studio, Cork Migrant Centre and Music Generation Cork City. This is an all-ages block-party and promises to be a vibrant celebration of creativity, identity, and inspirational youth music.

And finally the launch of the new, Féile Fearann Rí on June 19th - 23rd. The 5-day festival features workshops, rehearsals, sessions, recitals, and concerts, showcasing the community spirit and musical culture of the northside.

These June events will be followed by Music Generation Cork City’s annual programme of summer music camps in July (TradCamp, Brass and Wind Camp, Music Mash Up camps in Knocknaheeny and Mayfield and The Kabin Studio summer camps).
