Disability Training Results - Aoibhie McCarthy

Aoibhie McCarthy is the Artistic Director of Sample-Studios, one of Ireland’s largest artist studios and creative workspaces, based in Cork City, Ireland. She was a recipient of the Cork City Council Arts Office Arts for All stipend to attend the Disability & Cultural Management training in early 2021 with Acesso Cultura, in Portugal.

For Aoibhie’s output for the course she created a podcast of conversations with 3 arts practitioners that are doing phenomenal work to include and highlight minorities with the world of the arts. Her guests on the podcast are Caomhán Mac Con Iomaire of The National Gallery, Sophie Sage of V&A Museum of Childhood in London and Adrian Colwell of Drag & Draw.
